Originally founded in 2002, Rolf Potts’ Vagabonding blog (a.k.a. Vagablogging) was one of the first travel-advice blogs to find a wide audience in the days before social media.
Sponsored by indie-travel pioneers BootsnAll.com, this blog eventually attracted dozens of contributors from around the world, and debuted the early writing of such journalists, authors, and influencers as Tim Ferriss, Eva Holland, Justin Glow, Jennifer Miller, and Marco Ferrarese (among many others).
Vagablogging has been on hiatus since late 2016, but its full archives can be found here (and in time it will be home to new online travel-reporting projects).
